Kelsey Broich joined the Institute of Government in 2021 as a creative design specialist
in the Planning and Environmental Services Unit. With a passion for connecting people
with nature, her work focuses on visualizing and promoting nature-based infrastructure
through graphic visualization and rendering. Her work also supports the efforts of
Engineering with Nature, a partnership between the University of Georgia's College
of Engineering's Institute for Resilient Infrastructure Systems (IRIS) and the U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers. Previously she served as a graphic designer for UGA Marine
Extension and Georgia Sea Grant, creating graphics for coastal research, environmental
education and outreach.
