Theresa Wright serves as Associate Director and leads the Institute of Government’s Survey
Research and Evaluation Support division. Wright also serves as Director of Assessment
and Evaluation for the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach at UGA. The
Survey Research and Evaluation Support division provides rigorous and systematic evaluation
and applied research services to state agencies, local governments, the university
community, and not-for-profit entities. Wright has focused her career on understanding
how the knowledge and resources of the university and research communities can assist
state and local governments in developing prescient and effective policies for their
citizens. Wright has more than 25 years of experience providing consulting; evaluation;
survey, mixed-methods, and qualitative research; and technical assistance services
to the education, justice, social and human services, and healthcare communities.
