More than 1,000 city officials from throughout Georgia enhanced their leadership skills and earned recognition through the Harold F. Holtz Municipal Training Institute at the recent 2025 Cities United Summit, presented Jan. 26-29 in Atlanta. The Harold F. Holtz Municipal Training Institute, a cooperative effort of the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) and the UGA Institute of Government, provides training opportunities for city officials. The January event recorded more than 1,200 training registrations in nearly 30 classes, and more than 125 officials were honored for their commitment to professional development.
