Registration has launched for the 2026 Disaster Resilience Across the Chattahoochee Valley Conference. The conference is scheduled for July 21 and 22 in Columbus. It is presented by the Georgia Alabama Partnership for Sustainability and hosted in coordination with the UGA Carl Vinson Institute of Government. The conference brings together leaders focused on emergency preparedness, infrastructure resilience and disaster recovery across Georgia and Alabama. While the event is designed to help the Chattahoochee Valley prepare for gaps in key infrastructure services before, during and after a disaster, including loss of power, water, utilities and other energy shortages, its sessions will benefit leaders from across Georgia. More information and registration available online.
