More than 350 behavioral health professionals from across Georgia gathered in early October for the 2025 Behavioral Health Symposium. The symposium, held at Callaway Gardens, was hosted in partnership between the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) and the UGA Institute of Government. Led by Malisia Taylor, the Institute of Government team helped DBHDD leadership with planning this statewide professional development conference, including assisting with identification of learning objectives, session speakers, and supporting the annual recognition program.
